Reads the DmsObjects an event carries: one object, or an array of them. Anything else — e.g. the id list of YuvEventType.DMS_OBJECT_CREATED — yields an empty array.
Objects are recognized by their shape, not by instanceof: an event that arrived through window.postMessage carries a structured clone, which has lost the DmsObject prototype.
